Translation of platonic in German

So by age twelve, I had decided that I wanted to learn English and I was studying for the United States TOEFL at age twenty. Being bilingual practically from birth, makes speaking languages very easy for me.
Yes, my Spanish is much better than your German, but it is not true that I do not want to learn with you. I think this is not an issue. Where do you come from in the U.S.? East or West coast?
I will be doing my second year of studies abroad, probably in Panama. For that I will really want to learn Spanish. I know little about the Spanish language, but I will learn. I can help you with German.
